Next.js site with Sanity Studio

Building a statically generated site that uses Next.js for the frontend and Sanity to handle its content. The goal is to set-up static site generation (SSD) with heavy content. I am going to start with SSD as a foundation, emphasizing performance, security, and efficiency, while still maintaining the flexibility to incorporate dynamic features for interactive content with Sanity.

Langchain: Chatting with PDFs

This AI project enables natural language conversations with PDFs by ingesting links, processing text via embeddings, and enabling interactive user queries. After scraping 1321 links, the project leverages Langchain for text segmentation and Pinecone for efficient storage and retrieval. With an OpenAI model, users can now engage in intuitive chats about processed content.

Square Share

A web application built with Flask, integrating Jinja2 templates and Bootstrap for a responsive UI. Tailored for neighborhood communities, it allows residents to share items without the hassle of sign-ins. With a simple SQLite backend for data storage and an easy-to-use interface, it represents a modest approach to enhancing neighborhood interactions through technology.

Joke Transformer

An interactive web application that lets users rephrase jokes fetched from an external API. With an option to provide alternative phrases, the app utilizes OpenAI's LLM to output creatively transformed jokes, featuring a dark mode toggle for enhanced UX. The code is an example of imperative programming: written in plain JavaScript.

JS OpenAI trainer

Created a beginner-friendly tool that provides a practical starting point for those interested in working with OpenAI's API using JS. The tool enables users to interact with OpenAI's GPT-3 by asking questions and retrieving responses. The project also offers a comprehensive README for novices dealing with server-side and client-side environments.

Python-SQLite

This Python project let me dig into building a command-line interface (CLI) app called filmFlix. I had a few goals: (1) Learn to connect Python and SQLite. (2) Understand core CLI functionality before diving into Flask's magic. (3) Test portability - I built it locally in VS Code then moved it to Replit.

filmFlix: a Flask app

A dynamic web application designed for movie enthusiasts to catalog and manage their film collections. I got hands-on with Python-SQLite integration and grasped key principles of Flask framework. Moving the project between environments showed me how to make code portable. Overall, it stretched my Python abilities and prepared me for more complex web development.

Storyboard Assistant

As the project manager for this venture, led the development of a tool that streamlines the storyboarding process for video creators using text, image, and voice genAI models. Managed the MVP stage from ideation to beta launch, focusing on product strategy, and steering the engineering team.

My second startup as a founder. Tried to avoid past mistakes but made new ones. Still proud of the O&M solution and marketplace we built. Building a marketplace is hard! Saw mining giants crash with crypto winter. Learned more about startups, VCs and people.

Cyberian Mine

Learned to build a business plane while flying it. Spotted a need for crypto mining management. With the bitcoin bull run, we rapidly grew by uniting an enthusiastic community. Developed operations to manage thousands of mining units. Rode the highs and lows of the crypto rollercoaster.

My first Replit portfolio

Completing a #100-days-of-code challenge on Replit gave me the confidence that coding is an accessible skill I can learn. Through building various applications, I honed skills in web scraping, APIs, authentication, Flask, Replit DB and more. I continue building with a keen interest in aviation, specifically enhancing pilot training. Marketplaces remain a passion. I'm also working to streamline art project management and exploring digital banking practices and cuneiform translation.
